From Fri 4 to Sun 10 June, Interdisciplinary Performing Arts Festival including dance, music and theater hosts sacred monsters and emerging artists, giving space to young people and consecrating stars of the contemporary. For the 25th edition various locations including the main office Stazione Leopolda and then Teatro della Pergola, Villa Strozzi's Limonaia, PARC former Grand Ducal Stables at Cascine, Teatro Goldoni and Cantiere Florida. Mon 14 Dallapiccola focus, Cameristi del Maggio directed by Mario Ruffini in music by Dallapiccola, Bach and Mozart.
Wed 16 Naruhiko Kawaguchi, at the fortepiano in music by Schubert.
Fri 18, Sat 19, Tempo Reale, experimentation on electronic sounds: Arne Deforce, cello.
Sun 20 Sara Bartuccioli and Rodolfo Alessandrini in music by Schubert.
Mon 21 Contempoartensamble, Duccio Ceccanti and Roberto Noferini on violin, directs Vittorio Ceccanti with music by Shostakovic and Schnittcke.
Tue 22 at 8pm Verdi's Battle of Legnano, on the Renato Palumbo podium.
Wed 23 Marcello Nardis and Stefano Fiuzzi in music by Schubert.
Thu 24 John Axelrod pays homage to Lenny Bernstein with Age of Anxiety.
Sun 27 Maurizio Baglini and Silvia Chiesa in music by Schubert and Listz.
Mon 28 Orchestra della Toscana is guest with music by Ciaikosky and Shostakovich.
Tue 29 Fabio Luisi conducts the orchestra in music by Mendelssohn.
