Summer 2020 at Ganzo!

Stop by Via dei Macci 85red for a meal or aperitivo and discover the new flavors and formats we’re featuring this summer. For those new to Ganzo, we are the creative learning lab of Apicius Int’l School of Hospitality, the hospitality division of Florence University of the Arts – The American University of Florence. As a learning space, hospitality students and faculty apply coursework to real life situations as a direct interaction with the local community. 

Extended Opening
Ganzo is now open on Saturdays in addition to its standard Mon-Fri opening days. Food and wine service are available daily. Our central location in the Florentine gourmet neighborhood of Sant’Ambrogio is perfect stop for a meal or aperitivo while enjoying a stroll “in centro.”

Lunch and Dinner Menu
Lunch and dinner are served Mon-Sat and feature strictly seasonal dishes that can be viewed ahead of time at ganzoflorence.it. A specially edited selection of antipasti, primi, secondi, and desserts are freshly prepared on a daily basis with specials that rotate periodically. 

Aperitivo
Our Wednesday aperitivo is a neighborhood institution for locals and university community members. For this summer, aperitivo is featured on all opening days from 6pm to 8pm. In order to provide guests with the safest experience possible, the 5euro aperitivo format provides a beverage and a tasting plate served individually to each client. Meats cured in house, freshly baked breads, and Italian small bites are selected by our chef team and served with top quality wines. 

Weekly Specials
Monday Wine Club: Our resident sommelier hosts free mini wine seminars on Monday evenings. Participants will get to taste 2 different wines in the half-hour session and learn about the wines’ backgrounds, flavor analysis, and cultural facts.
Tuesday Wines by the Glass Special: On Tuesday evenings, wines by the glass are available at half price. Select bottles may also be purchased at a 50% reduction.
